Clinical History

Incident Description

Gav Pugh sustained a significant injury after falling while working on scaffolding.

The front of the shin was severely damaged, resulting in a long open wound extending down the shin. The wound was described as deep, with some areas appearing close to the bone.

The injury was reported as extremely painful and initially made walking very difficult.

Duration of Condition

The healing process was documented over approximately three weeks.

Previous Treatments

No previous treatments were reported prior to applying Eliawen.

Treatment Method

Product Used: Eliawen — Mon Naturals topical balm

Application Method (as reported):

  • Eliawen applied generously to the wound.

  • A large gauze dressing placed over the treated area.

  • The wound then covered with a wrap-around protective dressing to secure the gauze and protect the shin during work activities.

  • Dressing changed approximately every 36 hours.

  • Additional Eliawen applied during each dressing change.

The individual was shown how to apply and dress the wound so the process could be repeated during the treatment period.

Observed Results

Gav Pugh reported the following observations during treatment:

  • Noticeable reduction in pain following application of Eliawen.

  • Itching reported when the cream was not applied.

  • Gradual scab formation across the wound during healing.

  • Continued improvement in the appearance of the wound during treatment.

The individual reported that the wound healed over approximately three weeks with minimal visible scarring.

Treatment Timeline
